Worthless Tech Product of the Day

For only $300 you can get -while supplies last- one of only 20,000 "Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate UPGRADE Limited Numbered Signature Edition."

If you believe the hype, Bill Gates personally signed 20,000 boxes of software:

Signed by Bill Gates himself: Windows Vista Ultimate is Microsoft's powerful new operating system for the home and business user. Thinking of upgrading? Get this limited-availability Signature Edition signed by the world's richest man and own a little piece of history.

Yeah, right.

Last I looked, Bill Gates is worth about 60 Billion dollars. He makes about 6 Billion a year. If you do the math that's about 3 million per hour or over $8,000 a second. I doubt he spent the hours required to hand sign 20,000 boxes of Vista.
