Here's how the contest works

Every day there's a new way to way to enter. Each day we'll post a new assignment, which you are eligible to participate in. There's no cost to you, and most tasks are ridiculously simple. From the pool of eligible applicants who successfully complete the task before the next assignment we'll randomly choose one person as a finalist. Each day a new name will be picked from the previous assignment and another name will be added as a finalist. There's all sorts of different tasks planned and you can attempt all, some or none of the - although you'll have a hard time winning without at least making an effort...

By the final drawing day (Dec. 15) there should be approximately 25 finalists. From that pool of finalists we'll draw one lucky winner who we will attempt to reach via e-mail and website post. If we can't connect with that person within 24 hours we may pick another winner. In the event that another winner is selected the original winner will forfeit the prize. The unit will be shipped to arrive before Christmas, so prompt response to our winner notification is necessary.

The Fine Print...

Winner - One person will be drawn at random from the qualified finalists and be declared the winner. Finalists will be assigned a number from 1 to the number of finalists, and a number between 1 and the number of finalists will be generated randomly. The number that pops out of that spreadsheet will be matched to the numbered finalists, and that's how the winner will be chosen.

Finalists - Finalists will be determined by the conduct of a number of individual contests; some random drawings, other merit based selections. The decisions of the judges are, in cases, final. Only selected finalists will be included in the final random drawing.

Prizes - The winner will receive an new Sony Playstation 3 (20GB HD version) and shipping (within the Continental United States) to get the unit to the person by Christmas. Overseas or non CONUS winners will receive the unit, but Christmas delivery may not be possible. Every effort will be made to get the prize to the winner before Christmas, but Wizbang, LLC cannot guarantee such arrival.
