In case you've been under a rock and somehow missed it yesterday, Apple got bit by the Sony battery bug to the tune of 1.8 million batteries. Only 2 have had had problems but Apple is pulling all 2 million of them.
If you own a iBook or Powerbook G4 you should go here. G3 owners etc need not apply to read the rest of the post.

If you participated in a previous battery recall for any of these computer models or recently purchased or received from Apple an extra battery for an iBook G3, please check your battery serial number in case you received a replacement battery that is affected by this program.

The "go here" link is screwed up. And, I'm not sure, but I think I remember reading somewhere (I hope that's enough disclaimers) that G3 owners do need apply.
