Stereoscope display technology is apparently coming of age.
Like all auto stereoscopic displays, these screens have one view for your left eye and one slightly offset for the right eye to create the impression of a third dimension without any additional visual aids. In its displays, Philips has implemented nine viewpoints with a lens matrix, making the transition between possible viewpoints relatively smooth when you move around in front of the screen.
Sounds awfully cool. Though I can't imagine anything I'd rather not do than play F.E.A.R. in 3-D. But I'm wimpy like that.
