Adobe halts development of GoLive and Freehand

Macsimum News got a report from MacGeneration that said that Adobe is going to cease the development of GoLive and Freehand. They were both redundant applications after Adobe's acquisition of former rival Macromedia.

UPDATE: Glenn Fleishman tracks down the rumors and posts his findings in ExtraBITS. GoLive may not be a done deal.

Man, I wish they would kill it. I've spent untold hours cleaning up code from eyebrow-pierced GoLive Jockeys who can't understand why their pages don't work when they include 'file://C:/' links in them.

GoLive produces hands-down the worst HTML I've ever seen. Well, that or iWeb; haven't decided yet.
