Yahoo, EBay Announce Web Partnership

From TechNews:

Yahoo and eBay, two giants of Internet commerce, announced a "strategic alliance" today clearly aimed at rivals Google and Microsoft in the ongoing war for billions of dollars in market share on the World Wide Web.

The companies, in a joint statement, said they would combine forces in the areas of advertising, merchant payment, Web search, Internet-based telephone and browser toolbars. All are massive growth areas with vast revenue potential in the coming years.
