RSS Ticker loads your Live Bookmarks (Firefox's term for RSS/Atom/news feeds) and scrolls their entries across your screen while you surf. It's perfect for staying informed without having to actively browse entries in an RSS reader.

You can hide the stories that you've already read, so new postings will be immediately apparent as they scroll across your screen. A full-figured (but not bloated) set of options allows you to customize the ticker to your liking.

So go ahead and download it, and add some of Wizbang's many RSS feeds to the ticker, and sit back as the news comes to you, rather than you chasing after the news.
