Looking for an easy way to add the Technorati Link Cosmos for a particular post to you Posted By line? Here's the quick and dirty way to modify your templates to show Link Cosmos.
Moveable Type users can use this code (unless you have a "#" in your permalink scheme - in which case you need to use the Blogger code as a template):
<a href="http://www.technorati.com/cosmos/search.html?rank=&url=<$MTEntryPermalink$>" target="blank">Link Cosmos</a>
Blogger users can use this code:
<script language="javascript" type="text/javascript"><!-- document.write('<a href=\"http://www.technorati.com/cosmos/search.html?rank=&url=<$BlogURL$>%2F'); document.write('<$BlogItemArchiveFileName$>%' + '23<$BlogItemNumber$>" target="_blank">Link Cosmos</a>'); // --></script>
pMachine users can use this code:
<a href="http://www.technorati.com/cosmos/search.html?rank=&url=%%weblog_permalink%%" target="blank">Link Cosmos</a>
GreyMatter users can use this code:
<a href="http://www.technorati.com/cosmos/search.html?rank=&url={{pagelink}}" target="blank">Link Cosmos</a>
For other blogging systems just replace the <$MTEntryPermalink$> tag (in the Moveable Type example) with the tag your system uses to generate it's permalink.
Please let me know if the permalink tag is incorrect for any of the named systems.
